You can completely ignore certain parts of your documents if you put these
HTML comments around them. [re-index]
$IGNORE_TEXT_START = '<!--ignore_perlfect_search-->';
$IGNORE_TEXT_END = '<!--/ignore_perlfect_search-->';

You add these tags and place whatever in between:

<!--ignore_perlfect_search-->

script or whatever you do not want to see in the search results

<!--/ignore_perlfect_search-->

You have to re-index your files.

Hello Perlfect developer,

I found that the Perlfect Search 3.20 has a bug. That is, it ignores the javascript at the begining of the html document (between <head></head>). However, it treats the javascript in other places as normal text.

Here is an example:

Hello World!
If you index this file and search "PerlfectTest", the result will show up.

Do any one know how to exclude the above javascript from been indexed?

Thanks a lot.

Ling Wang
