[Perlfect-search] no such device?

Hello,

A perlfect search on www.cimi.org, which was previously working fine, now
returns "No such device or address."

I don't recall doing anything to the server recently except trying (and
failing) to install another search engine for testing. It went into its
own folder in a temp folder, so it couldn't have messed anything up.
(Famous last words?)
