[Perlfect-search] Error opening inv_index

Does anyone know why I am getting the following message on my linux box?

Software error:
Cannot open
/home/adougall/bareingredients_html/cgi-local/perlfect/search/data/inv_index:
 at search.pl line 65.

For help, please send mail to the webmaster (webmaster@bareingredients.com),
giving this error message and the time and date of the error.
