That's not really possible. But you can write a PHP file that calls the
search and outputs its result, i.e. a wrapper.

Could you, Daniel, or s.o.a. tell me an example of a wrapper please.
What do you mean with 'a PHP file that calls the search and outputs its
result'? If I rename the template.html in .php it doesn't work. Why not?
