[Perlfect-search] indexer.pl problems

Today I installed perlfectsearch without telnet
access and after running indexer.pl I have following
files in the /data dir:
-desc_tmp
-df
-docs_tmp
-inv_index_tmp
-terms_tmp
-tf
-titles-tmp
When I run search.pl it says: inv_index not found
at search.pl line 65
when I delete _tmp it finds inv_index but returns
invalid argument at search.pl line 65
Thanks for any help on this!
