[Perlfect-search] indexer.pl problem

I keep getting the following:

[Wed Aug 29 03:02:51 2001] indexer.pl: Cannot execute 
'/usr/bin/pdftotext /usr/local/apache/atoront/cgi-bin/perlfect/search/
temp//temp.pdf -': Illegal seek at 
/usr/local/apache/atoront/cgi-bin/perlfect/search/indexer.pl line 445.
Error: May not be a PDF file (continuing anyway)

Obviously "..temp//temp.pdf" is invalid. How do I rectify this?
