Yes, it seems so, because it doesn't use the normalize()'d version of the 
term.

I think this is already fixed in CVS.

I decided against this because then only people with German keyboards can 
search for German words. The current way is better for e.g. finding German 
surnames with an umlaut, even if you cannot type it / don't even know it.
