[Perlfect-search] META data indexing?

Hi,

Great product, thanks. Now comes post-installation 
questions if anyone can provide direction.

Is it possible to include HTM file types
in the META description tag indexing in a similar
way the HTML files are using the DESC_WORDS variable
in the subroutine record_desc? 

The use of the no_index.txt file does not appear to function 
in the capacity suggested by FAQs. Is there a 
gimick to excluding entire directorys?
