Hi Daniel,

    Ok, here's the scoop.... I have a Unix account so figured I'd do the
patch there and then just upload the patched copy to my Windows 2000 box,
but I can't seem to get that far. I did what you said, I uploaded a fresh
copy of the scripts right out of the .zip file to my Unix account. Then I
telneted in and ran the patch, but I still get the error, here's a copy of
the results I get after running the patch:

$ patch -p0 <multi-boost.diff
Hmm... Looks like a unified diff to me...
The text leading up to this was:
--------------------------
|--- /home/dnaber/perlfect/search/search.pl     Tue Aug  1 23:01:50 2000
|+++ search.pl  Thu Aug  3 21:21:31 2000
--------------------------
Patching file search.pl using Plan A...
Hunk #1 failed at 1.
Hunk #2 failed at 102.
2 out of 2 hunks failed--saving rejects to search.pl.rej
Hmm... The next patch looks like a unified diff to me...
The text leading up to this was:
--------------------------
|--- /home/dnaber/perlfect/search/conf.pl       Mon Jul 31 23:17:58 2000
|+++ conf.pl    Thu Aug  3 21:34:38 2000
--------------------------
Patching file conf.pl using Plan A...
Hunk #1 failed at 48.
1 out of 1 hunks failed--saving rejects to conf.pl.rej
Hmm...  Ignoring the trailing garbage.
done

I'm using a zero after the -p, correct? I would do it manually, but I know
nothing about Perl programming. Thanks for any help you can give!!!

Mike
